Save TV Butte - Keep Oakridge Beautiful T‑Shirt — Rainbow Forest Conservation Tee

Oakridge is still fighting to 'Save TV Butte' from a proposed 50-year quarry on top of TV Butte. This will create gravel and ruin our town forever. Families live on TV Butte. 

TV Butte is the endcap of our tiny town and visible from the moment you drive into town. It will sit above the Willamette Fish Hatchery, which raises and supplies salmon and fish into our streams for sport fishing. This horrible project will blast 6 stories into the small butte. 

The quarry will waste 5000 gallons of water daily to dampen the silica dust. The rock crusher will operate 6 days a week, 14 hours a day. There will be backup beepers, noise of rocks falling into metal trucks, constantly. They want 86 gravel trucks a day rumbling through our town, spewing fumes in our valley. The noise pollution will echo in our valley 

All profits will help cover legal fees.
